Ohioans First - an initiative promoting patient safety in Ohio through the reduction of medical errors, has developed a new website that focuses on the elimination of five dangerous prescription abbreviations. The site contains posters and tool kits to assist individuals and institutions in educating consumers and healthcare providers of the need to eliminate these abbreviations.
